The first one has a very 90's pallette to it, very reminiscent of a teal GBC. It also looks a bit more radioactive to me -- a glowing aura may really sell it.
The more "authentic" Nuka-Cola Quantum color might be somewhere between them, but who cares about authenticity.

The first one because its closer to magenta, and Magentas a fake color. Your mind makes that color as an absence of green, and you pick it up faster.
long story-short it'll stand out in animations.
