Forums Dead???

i rather use the forums than discord.
here i can actually write down my thoughts on things, my opinions or point of view. without the worry i reply to late that it gets off-topic. no rush here, just posting without time management. plus its more organized if you ask me. if it was actually being used.

the stuff i see on discord seems like small talk to me. can't really express myself there. conversations go too fast and topics move from one to another. i'd feel like a weirdo if i quote something of lets say; 8 hours ago to reply or share my thoughts.

and with all the time zone differences we have with members around the world... yeah...
i vote we ban discord and force everyone to use the forums.

I think the forums and Discord complement each other pretty well. They are not that dead, I check them regularly.

Agreed. The discord is more like a chat room, but forums are better for actual ongoing conversations since they don't get spammed. If i didn't post dolls on forums no one would see them

Call me old fashioned, but I quite like the more structured approach that forums take, you can collate the topics and threads of conversation with them without them becoming buried in someone else's bad-day rants.

It's actually one perk that slack has over Discord to be honest, not that it has many!
