For those of you who don't remember, I was the (inwardly) scared nervous one that ran away to join the Hippy Hangout with Snowball and Limon. Sounded more casual lol.
Just bought a new tablet recently, now I have an excuse to draw locks again. Yay.
Oh, I live in China now, am the head of the Specialist Department (PE, Art, Music, ICT) for a private school here, and I make shitty YT videos for the 300 people that slightly care.

Oh Same game, thank you for introducing a young man to Iron Maiden. It spawned a life long love affair and has inspired.many DnD characters haha.
Long story short, was studying education at uni when the Christchurch earthquake hit, four years later after graduating, the school I was working at had dropped enrollment from 1200 to 120. Government closed the school down and merged it with 5 others and the market was flooded with many teachers better and more experienced then me.
Couldn't get a job for a while, was learning Russian at the time, applied for a job in Russia, was sent to Shanghai instead, been here ever since

Wow, what a wild ride! How has it been living and working in China? I can imagine the "culture-shock" being quite large

Actually pretty chill. Fortunately, we live in an age where everything we want to know is on the internet. Once I got here basically everything I had read or watched online proved to be fairly accurate. There have been a few shocking moments, but for the most part it was more of a slow cultural awakening more than a swift and sudden change.

That's cool to know

I felt pretty "outlandish" when I spent a lot of time in Austria even though it's just a 2 hour plane ride away
